Do I need a referral?

NO - If you  have an NDIS plan you do not need a referral.  
 
Just phone or book online. 
 
If you are unsure if we are the right service for you - simply book a free 15 minute consultation so you can decide if you would like us to provide services to you.

Question 2

What will happen at the first appointment?

Accepted Answer

Your psychologist will ask questions to understand how they can help.  They will guide you through the process and talk about what to expect.
 
We will talk about our NDIS service agreement and see if we are the right service for you.
 
If you like, we can start our services as soon as the service agreement is signed.
 
It is ok to be nervous, most people are.  Our friendly psychologists understand and will help you to feel more comfortable.

Can I have someone with me?

Yes, if it makes you feel more comfortable, you can have a family member, friend or support person with you.

Do you only provide services to people with a disability?

At the moment we are focussing on providing support to people with disabilities (and their families and support network).  
 
This is an area we are passionate about and committed to.

Why do you only do homevisits?

To make it easier for you. 
 
We have provided services to people with disabilites for over 19 years.  So we understand how hard it is for someone people to travel to clinics for appointments.
 
We know that some people with Autism get very anxious when they have to go somewhere new. 
 
We know that if you are a sole carer, it may mean bringing out the whole household attend an appointment.
 
We know that people don't want to use their time in the community to visit us. They have better things to do.
 
We know the hassles of parking, wheelchair accessibility and the difficulty some people have in waiting rooms.
 
That is why we come to you, less hassles, and a more relaxed atmosphere.
